At the Martin Ugoji Memorial Scholarship (MUMS), our mission has always been to provide opportunities for bright, deserving children to access quality education and pursue their dreams. This year, we are delighted to share two incredible milestones that highlight the impact of our scholarship program.
First Cohort of Graduates
Our very first set of scholarship recipients, who joined us six years ago, have now completed their full secondary school education under the MUMS sponsorship program. These pioneering students have shown exceptional dedication and resilience throughout their journey.
They are now awaiting their WAEC and JAMB results, with hopes of gaining admission into university to begin the next chapter of their academic careers. Their success represents not just their hard work, but also the vision of MUMS—to break barriers and open doors for underprivileged students.
Growing Strong: From Primary to Junior Secondary
We are equally proud to announce that two of our younger scholars, who began their MUMS journey in Primary 1, have now successfully advanced to Junior Secondary School 3 (JSS3) this September. Watching them grow—both academically and personally—reminds us that sustained support and encouragement truly transform lives.
A Future Full of Promise
These milestones are more than achievements; they are a testament to the power of education, consistency, and community support. At MUMS, we believe every child deserves the chance to thrive, and we remain committed to nurturing the next generation of leaders, innovators, and change-makers.
As we celebrate these students’ accomplishments, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported MUMS—partners, families, and friends. Together, we are building a legacy of hope and opportunity.
