The Martin Ugoji Memorial Scholarship (MUMS) is proud to announce the addition of three new scholarship recipients who will be starting their secondary school journey this September. Please join us in celebrating and welcoming Gabriella, Chinonso, and Obianuju as they officially begin Junior Secondary School 1 (JSS1).
A New Chapter Begins
Earlier this year, 13 students sat for the MUMS entrance examinations. After a rigorous process, only three students met and surpassed the cutoff mark—Gabriella, Chinonso, and Obianuju. Their outstanding performance demonstrates not only their academic strength but also their resilience and determination. We are thrilled to award them scholarships as they embark on this new stage of their education.
Starting JSS1 is an exciting milestone—it marks the beginning of a new stage filled with opportunities to learn, grow, and dream bigger. For these three bright students, this journey will open doors to new subjects, experiences, and friendships that will shape their futures.
Our Commitment
At MUMS, we believe education is the key to unlocking potential. That’s why we are honored to walk alongside these three scholars, supporting them academically and personally as they take their first steps into secondary school. Through this scholarship, we remain committed to providing not only financial assistance but also mentorship, encouragement, and community.
Best Wishes for the Journey Ahead
We are excited to see what the future holds for these outstanding students. As they begin their JSS1 classes this September, we wish them strength, curiosity, and confidence in the years to come. May they approach their studies with determination, embrace challenges with courage, and continue to shine as beacons of promise and hope.
Once again, congratulations to Gabriella, Chinonso, and Obianuju—our newest MUMS scholars. The entire MUMS community is cheering you on!
